Shark steam mop

The most popular Shark steam mop model is Shark Deluxe steam mop and steam Pocket mop S3501; both are same model with different type and additional mop pad in the package. The latest model comes with 30feet long cord and lightweight for cleaning sealed hard-floor surfaces, ready in just 30 seconds. Shark's cleaning cloth covers the head but the design allows you to flip it so you can use both sides with ease.

The best thing about this mop, it has two sided cleaning pad, if one side is dirty you can flip it over and continue mopping. One interesting feature about Shark steam mop deluxe, it comes with a plastic carpet glider attachment that helps glide over carpets and area rug for steam deodorizing and refreshing (not so much for cleaning). The only weird thing about this product is no on/off switch so it keeps steaming as long at it’s plugged in. One drawback is the price, it higher compare to other products.

Bissell steam cleaner

Bissell Green Tea and bare floor Bissell steam cleaner are two most recommended Bissell steam mops. The Bissell has 360-degree maneuverable swivel mop head, low-profile pivoting head to reach tight places, ergonomic handle, and steam trigger. The Bissell green tea is one of the cheapest steam mops; it also has cheaper microfiber pad replacement compare to Shark floor steam cleaner or Eureka. One drawback all Bissell steam cleaners only has 18 feet cord, this probably little bit annoying to clean house with long hallway.

We have the Bissell Green Tea Steam Cleaner. For the first two years it was an amazing product but now I find that it pools water on the floor and that leaves water marks on our tiles. I have changed the pad and that made no difference. I have also found that the machine has lost heat and the temperature is not as high as it was when the unit was new.

Thanks for the info. I sometimes have problems with pooling too...it helps to let the steam build up. Great hub!
